Product Description

The STARK Solar-Powered Seawater Desalination System is a fully containerized RO solution engineered to operate independently of the grid. Designed for harsh Middle Eastern environments, it delivers between 5 and 50 tons of potable water per day using high-efficiency photovoltaic panels and lithium-ion energy storage.

All components—including pretreatment units, high-pressure RO pump, membranes, post-treatment, and smart control systems—are integrated inside a 20-foot or 40-foot insulated ISO container. The system runs on solar energy during the day and seamlessly switches to battery backup during low-light hours, ensuring 24/7 availability. Optional diesel or grid hybrid modes can be added for extended autonomy.

The solar power system includes monocrystalline PV panels (IP65-rated), a charge controller, lithium battery bank, and an energy management module with auto-priority logic. This guarantees stable RO operation while optimizing solar energy utilization. The control system is PLC-based with touchscreen HMI and supports remote monitoring via GSM or satellite.

The modular design allows rapid on-site deployment with minimal civil work. It is ideal for island communities, desert camps, refugee settlements, disaster relief, and government rural water programs across the Gulf region. With corrosion-resistant materials, sand-proof ventilation, and tropicalized electronics, the system is built to last under extreme conditions.

Applicable Industry

Applicable Industries & Use Scenarios

STARK’s solar-powered containerized RO system is ideal for a wide range of water-scarce, power-limited environments throughout the Middle East. Typical applications include:

  • Remote Coastal Villages: Off-grid desalination for small communities along the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea
  • Desert Construction Camps: Temporary water supply for infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman
  • Disaster Relief Zones: Rapid-response potable water generation after emergencies or natural disasters
  • Island Resorts & Marine Stations: Eco-friendly desalination without fuel dependency or emissions
  • Military & Border Camps: Secure, self-sufficient water systems for tactical operations in arid regions

Stark Advantage

Advantage One: Off-Grid Water Supply, Fully Powered by Solar

The STARK Solar Seawater RO system delivers reliable desalination in regions with no access to stable power grids. Designed for true energy independence, the system runs entirely on solar photovoltaic panels, supplemented by high-efficiency lithium battery storage. Whether deployed in a desert construction zone, an island resort, or a refugee camp, it produces clean water without relying on diesel or utility electricity.

Our solar architecture is optimized for Middle Eastern sunlight conditions, with monocrystalline panels rated for high temperature resistance and dust-proof performance. Automatic solar prioritization and real-time energy monitoring ensure efficient usage, while battery backup provides uninterrupted operation through the night or during cloudy days.

Advantage Two: Rapid Deployment, Modular and Scalable Design

The STARK solar RO system is pre-assembled in a 20FT or 40FT ISO container, allowing for rapid installation with minimal civil work. Simply connect the seawater intake, electrical terminals, and product water line—and the system is fully operational within hours. This makes it ideal for mobile or temporary sites where speed is essential.

Its modular configuration enables capacity expansion by running multiple units in parallel. Whether supplying water to a growing construction camp or expanding infrastructure in rural areas, the system can scale without major redesign. Maintenance is simplified with accessible service panels, automatic flushing routines, and remote diagnostics—reducing operational downtime in remote locations.
